收藏着录: 石渠宝笈初编(养心殿),上册,页675 收藏着录: 故宫书画录(卷五),第三册,页554 收藏着录: 故宫书画图录,第十一册,页133-134 内容简介(中文): 陆白为,江苏遂昌人。字日为,号遂山樵。山水初学米芾(西元1051-1107年)、米友仁(1074-1151),后自成本身面貌。喜欢用挑笔密点,层层点画,并能作大尺寸的画作。作品出现的年代在康熙乙丑(1685)至丁丑(1697)间。本幅纵315.9公分,横129.1公分,是一幅相当巨型的作品。在这样大的尺幅中,只画长松一株,凌空而起,在中段一木分为两干,枝干偃俯,纠结盘错之间,气势雄伟。枝干用粗笔画出,雄健挺拔;松针则用细笔密实点染,在在都显得厚实有力,画出了松的苍劲。而画坡地的横点,用侧锋横挑而起,可能就是记载中陆白为所喜用的「挑笔」了。(谭怡令) 内容简介(中文): 陆蘤字日为,江苏遂昌人。居松江,号遂山樵。山水初学二米,后以己意自成一局。喜用挑笔密点,不惜百遍,能为寻丈大幅。作品见于康熙乙丑(西元一六八五年)至丁丑(西元一六九七年)间。 长松一株,突兀凌空而起。中途一木分为两榦,枝皆偃俯,穿插盘错,甚有气势。地坡横点,用侧锋横挑而起,或即所谓之挑笔。 内容简介(英文): Lu Wei was a resident of Sui-chiang, Kiangsu. His style name was Jih-wei, he was also known as Sui-shan-chiao. Early in his career he studied the landscapes of Mi Fu and Mi Yu-jen of the Sung dynasty, and later went on to establish his own style. In his landscapes he liked to use thick layers of dots to build his forms, and was especially adept at executing large works. His works date from the period between 1685 and 1697. One tall pine tree looms majestically upwards into open space. From the root, the tree has split into two trunks with its branches growing into writhing forms for a very powerful effect. The ground moss has been rendered with a variation of the ‘Mi’ dot : an oblique brush wet with ink makes an impression and then is quickly lifted off the paper. Dot after dot is built up in this way.
