收藏着录: 故宫书画录(卷六),第四册,页286-287。 收藏着录: 故宫书画图录,第三十册,页332-339 内容简介(中文): 清慈禧太后仿瓶梅图慈禧太后姓那拉氏,为文宗的妃子,穆宗的生母,后以子贵,穆宗、德宗两朝,以太后身分垂帘听政达四十年之久。死后,諡号为光钦皇后。一生喜弄权术,招致清朝的加速灭亡。从政馀暇,也偶而附会风雅,怡情翰墨,喜爱写擘窠大字与绘画花卉,时常书写「福」、「寿」一类的大字,赏赐大臣。但是,她的花卉画并不好,好的多是晚年时,福昌殿供奉女画家缪素筠、阮苹香二人的代笔。 内容简介(英文): Vase of Plum FlowersTzu-hsi t’ai-hou (The Empress Dowager)Ch’ing DynastyEmpress Tzu-hsi t’ai-hou (family name Na-la), concubine of Emperor Wen-tsung, was the mother of Mu-tsung, the following Ch’ing emperor. Because of the tender age of both her own son and his successor (Te-tsung, his cousin), the Empress Dowager ruled in their stead for 40 years. After her death she was given the posthumous title “Kung-chin huang hou”. During her life, the Empress was most dedicated to her rule over China, a domination which ultimately led to the downfall of the Ch’ing dynasty.In her leisure, the Empress exhibited great interest in the arts; in addition to this patronage, she herself was fond of writing large inscriptions and of painting flowers. She often wrote single characters, “good luck” and “long life”, and presented them to her high officials. Her flower painting, however, was quite poor. Most of the better works were executed late in her life, when two female artists in her Fu-ch’ang Palace, Miu Su-chün and Yuan P’ing-hsiang, painted in the Empress’ name.
