收藏着录: 故宫书画录(卷八),第四册,页42 收藏着录: 故宫书画图录,第十八册,页393-396 内容简介(中文): 仇英(约西元一四九四至一五五二年),字实父,号十洲,江苏太仓人。年青时曾为漆工,后遇周臣,经其指授,渐有名于艺坛。工画山水、人物,兼善花卉、鸟兽。 画猎骑穿梭林间,走兽惊窜。猛虎、野猪被箭奔逃,猎者追逐兴奋之情颇为生动。款书「吴门仇英制」,然款与画皆有存疑处。 内容简介(英文): Hunting in AutumnCh’iu Ying (ca. 1494-1552)Ming Dynasty Ch’iu Ying, style name Shih-fu, sobriquet Shih-chou, was a native of T’ai-tsang, Kiangsu. Ch’iu was a professional lacquer artisan before he met Chou Ch’en. Under Chou’s instruction, Ch’iu gradually became well-known in painting circles. He excelled in many painting genres including landscape, bird and flower, and animal paintings. In the forest, frightened animals flee from the hunters. A tiger and boar are badly wounded by arrows. The excitement of the hunters can be seen in their facial expressions. The painter’s signature appears at the end of the handscroll, but it seems dubious. The painting was probably done by a later artist.
